YES the standard 20# tanks (or 30) mounted upright in a SAFE location can WORK,,,,,,Sometimes people tie the two with an auto changeover valve so if one gets empty the other takes over.........I dont know the rules codes and legality of when and where a DOT horizontal tank is used versus the 20# or 30# verticals, maybe some fine gent will take the time to look that up for you ???? FWIW I've owned dozens of Motorhomes over a 50 year span and they ALL had enclosed horizontal tanks while travel trailers, fifth wheels and truck campers had the vertical THERE MAY BE A REASON FOR THAT ?????????? Have to Google it.... Any LP service techs here ??????????
