Too cold you can turn the furnace up, add a blanket or sweatshirt. Typically a lot less needs to be done on the farm in the coldest months so you can huddle by the heat.
In the heat of summer work needs to be done, hot or not. Baling, oat harvest, spraying, etc. suck it up and keep working. Blah.
So, Id just as soon be in the cold over the high humidity and heat.
