I'm sure most of you save bits and pieces of scrap "just in case" you might need it for a future project.
My old Ford LGT-18 lawn tractor has always had a problem with the RH side of the deck "scalping" under certain conditions on rough terrain. I decided to mount a castor wheel to help alleviate the problem. I used various pieces of scrap I've accumulated. You sharp eyed farmers may recognize a particular old piece of scrap I used in my fabrication. I have used pieces of this for many projects over the years.
