I dabbled with building stuff, but was more at home helping friends and relatives buy what they needed. Seemed to be my nitche. I understand the lingo enough to know the good from the bad setups, and knew my friends enough to know this one needs cheapest working, that one needs best graphics, over there needs sturdy, etc.
Was far too easy to online order from Dell or the like and get what you wanted. If you ordered from the business line was typically a better components and less garbage on the machine.
