Hello hill welcome to YT! Once it raises does it hold position? When you throttle the engine down does it just start lowering? That would be a sign the seals are blow in the 3 point lift cylinder. If you do not use the 3 point does the hyd. oil heat up either way? I assume your cooler valve only protects the cooler coil from over pressure. I am attaching the CNHI parts diagrams for your tractor. Go to Hydraulics section 8, subsection 258, what I am talking about is number 1. It also shows a ..dump valve in section 280. Another odd thing, does it mention that in you book? I would suggest you buy a service manual. YT does offer a IT manual, but I suggest then actual Case Repair manual, the one in the 2nd link is downloadable.
