According to the info in the serial number section of this site (found by clicking on -more- up above if using a cell phone, might be somewhere else using a PC), they only made these for 2 years. 1956 and 57. If no break in the serial number, they only made 5,670 of these in 1956. No ending serial number (only a beginning) is shown there for 1957. But IF production closely reflected 1956, your looking at approximately 11,340 of these things produced. If it was greatly different than 1956 production, then who knows?? If I were guessing and was a betting man, I'd probably bet that the production was similar on the second year of production. With only a 2 year run in the production.
