Since it was obvious that this 301A was used mainly as a loader tractor. The edge on the front bucket was grind back about 5 inches. So I finally got to use some of the 3/16 7018 welding rods that I picked up at a metal scrap yard 20 years prior. Bought 4 50 lbs cans of them that someone threw away. I also kept a wore out on one side cutting edge off a medium size track hoe. Added a 1/2 X 3 flat stock.
