Land Pride is now owned by Kubota and primarily made in the Midwest. They should have a decent USA made product with parts availability. I haven't seen a new Howard in a very long time. The problem with a tiller is the shock load it imparts to your tractor. Doesn't sound like you will be putting enough hours on it to matter, but I'd rip the garden before tilling to lessen the shock to your hydro.
