Chief,what you want to do will work fine. Doing that to other machinery can be very bad. If you were going to load that truck like a 1 ton I would advise against it. I have a customer who uses a 656 Farmall as a lot tractor moving anything they can get the forks under. They were breaking front rims as fast as they could put them on.He was using pick up wheels,as soon as I talked him into the correct IH wheels, he hasn't broken one since.(hud centered wheels)
