In the middle of the shut down When every one were told to stay home I went to a car dealer and the front door was locked so I went in the side door. GM was giving free interest or $6000 off. I thought I'm paying interest on my used truck so if I trade in and get zero interest I can save money. The dealer shot me a price and then what the payments would be. If there is no interest then the total of payments should be the selling price. Well it was $ 3000 higher. I said your trying to rip me off and got up and walked out. Another saleslady called me up and said come back in. She gave me the right deal. Sent it to GM and they said no my credit was 2 points to low. I told the dealer ( well I guess I'm going to have to walk out of here twice in one day.). They said wait a minute. They found me a interest loan so low that the payment was lower than the no interest deal. I ended up getting the truck for $ 11000 off not $6000 off.
