On Friday I attended the Johnson fall consignment auction held just east of Ft Scott,KS..It was a nice mostly sunny day with temps in the mid 60's...The amount of items consigned was way down from previous auctions. The 8820 Titan II combine received no bids at $3,000...The motor had 900 hours on a rebuild..I'll bet those 73 inch Terra Rice tires would be pretty expensive.
The 8640 JD received a bid of $7750...The seller wanted $12,000.
This nice John Deere 18 ft disk sold for $2,600.
The 1980 model 4440 John Deere sold for $28,000...It had receipts for $13,500 of engine work 900 hours ago..It also had a new cab interior..
The Farmall H sold for $800...It hadn't ran in years but was running at the sale.
The 2001 Dodge 3500 with bale bed sold for $6,500..It was a Cummins with a 5 speed.
The JD 4020 diesel was a no sale at $5,750..
The 2005 Dodge 3500 was a no sale at $7,000....It had a 5.7 Hemi,automatic,134,000 miles with 6 new tires..
This rough 1994 Ford Ranger sold for $900..It was a V-6 automatic and ran poorly.
