I ended up buying an electric DA from HF. I'm glad I listened to the advise on this site. Made myself more work trying to do without it, but things are moving along. Someone asked what kind of tractor I am working on. It's actually a tractor hauler with a crossover tool box mounted on the truck frame ahead of the dump bed. ('97 Ford Superduty). Quite a bit of welding too. Gonna schmutz on the bedliner stuff when I'm done. Maybe someday I'll send before and after pictures when I get done.
