Yeah, I know the story behind it. It was built August 19, 1942 for the 1943 model year. It was shipped to Grandforks, ND with steel wheels. I don't know how my Great Great Uncle got it other than he said who he bought it from but I don't remember the name. When he bought it the mag was stored in a shed which burnt down. I had been asking for him to sell for 4-5 years but he never gave me an answer other than " It would be cheap". Last year at the family picnic out at the church that borders his property he asked if I was the guy who'd been asking about a JD and I replied, "yes, that was me". He said "You can have one, for nothing". Why'd I pick this one out of the 4 Bs, a D, and an R? Well, when I was 9 I saw this one and for some reason grew attached to it. So it was just being able to get the tractor that had caught my eye 5 years earlier.
