Thanks, I'll know more after I get time to work on it. I'm beat!! Had to change the battery cable ends and install my battery from other 1550. It started and died, decided to change the carb, when I took it off, about a quart of gas came pouring out of manifold and air tube. Then the starter wouldn't kick in, so I changed it with my spare that I brought along just in case. Started and ran, aired up the other side rear tire with a slow leak and pulled out of the shed to change the tire, clutch is stuck. Finally got the bad tire and rim off and spare rim on and tire and tube and inflated. Called a buddy to haul it and he came and we loaded up and came home. Unloaded and cleaned out pickup and jacked up slow leak side and put the valve stem on top. Hood and side panels are decent, not all dented up, he had a Hinson Weather Break heat houser for it and threw it in. Needs a seat and steering wheel. Seller was standinf there with me waiting on the trailer to get there and said it's nice to see it running again, I'd give you $630 for it. ( I paid $625). I told him that I didn't work that cheap and he laughed. Glad it's home, I have other things I need to work on.

It’s amazing how a little floor jack can lift tons and tons of weight with just the flick of a handle. What’s even more amazing is that all the principals of hydraulic theory can be wrapped up in such a small package. This same package applies to any hydraulic system from the largest bulldozer to the oldest and smallest tractor. This short series will take a look at the basic layout of a simple hydraul
