used to work in aluminum extrusion plant that also did fabbing and painting and anodizing...Had to go inside the powder coat ovens many times to clear jams in the track, they had one of those silver fire fighting suits to try to protect us from the heat. You could go in around 160 but it was a quick visit...Also got to change the tip of the extrusion presses , it poked into a container that was running around 800-850 so it had to be preheated to 800 as well...had to pull out a plug and give the old tip a quarter turn then remove it and grab the new one and reverse the procedure. They weighed 80-85 pounds...could get pretty warm handling those....
Had some pretty warm adventures in the navy as well...
