It depends a lot on how they were stored. If they are on their original pallet or properly re-stacked, they'll probably be fine. If they weren't stacked right, the shingles could have shifted in the bundle so their glue strips aren't aligned with the release tape on the adjoining shingle. Then they'll be stuck together and unusable. Look at the ends of the bundles: If they're nice and rectangular, the shingles are probably fine. If the ends look like parallelograms (diamond-shaped), fuhgetaboutit.
Make sure they're metric shingles (39 inches long). If they're only 36 inches long you'll have a hard time finding new shingles to match them. Plus the metric shingles go down faster than the three-footers.
