This is an actual Ford-built tractor, based on 1913-'15 Model ''T'' parts. At the time this picture was taken, Ford was preparing to enter the booming tractor market and this was one of their early experimental tractors that was deemed as too much of a lightweight to be of much real use outside of a garden patch. Eventually Ford turned to a couple of Hungarian engineers, Joseph Galamb and Eugene Farkas, to design a much heavier machine made up of its own, unique engine and unit-frame castings.
The outboard tanks on this tractor are water for the closest one, and probably the poorest grade of gasoline you could possibly imagine in the far-sided tank!
