As it is Sunday, I thought I would post a couple of church related pictures that are also part of my family history. This church at Erpingham, near Cromer, on the Norfolk coast is of historic interest to us here in England as it was the home of Sir Thomas Erpingham who organised the archers and fought at the Battle of Agincourt in France, against the French. The battle was going badly for the English until Sir Thomas's men opened fire with their long bows. Sir Thomas was immortalise in a Shakespeare play.
My third great grandmother is buried in the churchyard.
