The original seal was a 1/2'' wide double-lip seal which is no longer available. The replacement is a 1/4'' wide single-lip and you need 2 of them. I'm pretty sure 1 each of p/n AA2296R gets you 2 seals. When you install the seals make sure the garter springs are facing AWAY from each other. The inner seal keeps oil in the pump and the outer seal keeps air out of the pump. Put a dab of grease between the 2 seals. A substitute is Chicago Rawhide 13602 available from an auto parts store. Again, you need 2 of them.
If the old seal has cut a groove(s) in the pto shaft a Federal Mogul Redi-Sleeve #99138 will fix that problem.
