Looks rather durable for most jobs. I don't use impacts on pullers .To many things can go wrong to fast for them to me. Mostly slip off in use. I broke the jaws off both ends of one the other day pulling just a simple sprocket off an auger shaft on the combine. The sprocket popped when it first moved and for a bit after that. New one will just slip on and hold fine and will come off better if there is a next time.
