The noise level depends on the wind direction and how far away from them you are. Sometimes we can't hear them and sometimes the constant whoosh whoosh whoosh, about one every second, is enough to drive me batty. If you are right up close to them you really don't hear a lot of noise. If you are more than a couple of miles away you probably won't hear them. We have none on our land, the closest one is about a mile away. We signed up to have from 1 to 3 on our land, but FPL never followed through on our land and the agreement was terminated. Since I have to see them and hear them I wish I had some on my property so I could be compensated.
