With a good little bit of planning, you could build a system using the PTO pump the way Dieseltech is describing. Pump, tank and hoses to your Backhoe controls. A backhoe moves a lot of oil, so get a tank big enough to dissipate the heat, or add an oil cooler to your planned system. Sounds like an open center system to me. If you get a good clean tank, put your filter on the return side of the system. They do make high pressure filters, but they are not cheap, nor easy. Good luck. Sounds like a fun project. steve
