AS I drove down to Austria in the early 1970's, everywhere you looked in the fields were farmers, cutting hay with Eicher tractors and side mounted mowers. They built a very well liked larger tractor with an air cooled diesel too. Another M-F take over in the 1960's and 70's, MF sold the company to an Indian company and the tractors are now manufactured in India but not sold on the European market, as far as I know.
