A few years ago, we used to take our Petrol Dexta from Norfolk, England, down to the Dutch/German border to a tractor show at Meddo. We would travel overnight on the ferry and drive down to Emiel's home farm, then onto the showground to set up on the Friday, returning overnight again on the Monday. Got pulled over in the red lane at the customs on our return one time and asked if we had anything to declare. The next question was Where have you been and where are you going. We explained we had been to a tractor show and the customs man reaction was, You bl!dy Norfolk boys take your tractors everywhere! Thorough you go.
