I put a 157 as I vaguely recall many years ago on a 4010 having closed center hydraulics. Got the supply pressure from the distribution box from which the 3 pt was powered....had a plug (maybe what's called a power beyond port) and I just tapped into it and installed a Cross double hydraulic valve I bought at TSC for a couple hundred bucks. The return line I welded a fitting on the hyd. oil filter cover which worked just fine. I don't remember the total cost but couple hundred bucks for the control and maybe 20' of 1/2 HP hose and fittings which I had made up at the local auto parts sales store. I found a convenient location for the control and just fabricated a bracket for mounting it out of scrap steel I had lying around.
What I didn't know of at the time, nor liked was the fact that I work alone and hooking up the huge (forget the dimensions) without the skid steer connector like is available today, getting bolts in 4 holes with movable hydraulic cylinders involved that didn't necessarily extend the same length was a discusting effort....made you want to just leave the bucket on.
