Similar here in central MN. I cant say it was a splash rather more akin to walking through a puddle. I recall them being the feature line of a small town dealer that was previously a David Brown dealer. This would have been in the later half of the 70s and early 80s. I know SAME supplied some models to AGCO in the early transition and thought I recall some later association with Duetz, but I cant find information to support that. In these parts we can find DBs, Belarus, an occasional Zetor, Long, and even a few Leylands, but youd be hard pressed to find a SAME.
