A number of different manufactures painted tractors in Orange. This is the last of the single cylinder Field Marshall range, a Series 3A which was painted in Fowler Orange. Marshall and Fowler had been part of the same holding company for many years with Marshall tractors being used as the basis for Fowler crawler tractors. Soon after this series were produced, Marshall gave up wheeled tractors and went to crawlers only powered by a range of Perkins diesel engines, the very successful Track Marshall models.
If you have one of these Series 3A's, it is worth a lot of money in any condition.
