I had an old D4 with pony motor. Started the pony one winter day and as things warmed up it something started smoldering, mouse nest on the exhaust manifold, figured it was already warm I start the main engine then take the hood off and clean out the nest. As soon as the main started the fan fanned the nest and now I had a fire! Shut it down, put it out, cleaned it out, no damage. Mice eat seats in everything. Mice built a nest in two old tractors clutch that I didn't use for a while, ruined everything in there. Someone I knew left part of a sandwich in their restored 70s Chevy pickup with the window partially open, a large bear tore up the seat, scratched up the side of truck ect trying to get that sandwich.
