I had one wisdom tooth removed in the dentist chair with only the aide of novacaine. The dentist had to break the tooth to get it out; and once the novacaine wore off, not even the strongest painkiller had a chance (darvoset, percoset). Worst pain of my life, nothing else even close. Actually brought tears to my eyes. When it kept hurting for days, they said I had a "dry socket", which took 2-3 weeks to feel better. I was supposed to go back to have one more taken out....forget it. Not during my lifetime. Heck, I don't even want to go to the dentist for a cleaning! Good luck!
