We've been running from one family member to the next with terminal health issues who need help. Don't get me wrong I not really complaining, I'm just glad I'm healthy enough to help. Often folks on this forum ask about pickup trucks and how they perform. My last trip was from my home in CO to my brother-in-laws in IL (running empty). 1001 miles from my front door to his. 434 miles 'around town'. Then back home. I set the mileage computer in my Dodge 3500 4wd diesel when I first left CO. When I returned home the average for the entire trip was 22.3 mpg. I've driven many pickup trucks in my time, but never before have I seen one as a work of art, efficient, as well as a brute when it comes to hard work. No, I have no interest in the Chrysler Corp.
