I have a 87 Dodge Dakota with a electric cooling fan that I have never seen run. Bought the pickup new and now have over 100,000 miles on it and I don't think the fan has ever run . I guess itdoesn't matter after this long. Its a 4 cyl. and there is plenty of space for air flow around the radiator.
