Anyone who has restored a Farmall Model A tractor. If you could tell me about how much paint, and primer it took and how much it cost you. The machine I am talking about was my grandfathers. He bought it used, but has had it for fourty some years. He did farm with it but im not sure how many years he used it in farming. He said he used it so much that he changed the oil once every two weeks or something like that. The machine runs very well, and has not had any major work done on it since my grandfather bought it. It was well taken care of, it runs great and starts right off with little effort every time, but even still is it wise to rebuid the motor. Or just do a cosmetic restoration on the machine. Please email me with your thoughts. Thank you.
