Wendel.........what ever you do, DO NOT PUCKY your valve cover gasket. Gasket sealers are used for parts that are not meant to be continually disturbed, like taking the valve cover off to adjust the valves..... Sometimes the sheetmetal valve covers get warped from trying to tighten the covers down too hard to stop gasket leaking. Most valve covers tighten to about 10 ft/lbs. Make certain all mating surfaces are clean and un-warped..........Dell
