As one old farmer always answered to everything - IT DEPENDS. If you're doing it for therapy or to stay out of the house and away from the wife, kids, telephone, etc. then forever is about average. If you really have a need to use it at some point then the time will be about 2 days longer than the first need for it. Whatever your reason, do it to the best of your ability and do not apologize if it is less than somebody else's idea of perfect.
