One of the attractions of this hobby to me is the fact that old tractor guys are generally kind of stingy. They don't want to pay much for something, and by the same token, will usually sell pretty reasonable, too. I put myself in the same category. It makes it easy to buy and sell stuff, and have fun with the hobby without getting a fortune tied up. It also makes tractors a pretty poor investment, so far as capital appreciation goes. Also, look what happened to old cars- the pre-1930's cars peaked in the '70's, and now, are generally worth less, because the guys who remembered them fondly from their youth are dying off. It'll be the same with tractors- I'd hate to try to sell a Molne Z for a profit to someone of my kid's generation!
