I don't make any money w/ my shop tools,but I save a bunch.I have a 9 in.South Bend and a 16 in.South Bend lathe,an old number 0 Sheldon Milling machine,and an old manual feed surface grinder.I've never made any real projects with these machines,but I've managed to keep quite a few antique tractors,bulldozers,cars and trucks,and other metal working machines running.Where I live,it seems like small machine shops are a thing of the past.With-out my shop,I don't know where I'd get some of my parts made.Even some simple parts like pins and bushings that are no longer available.Maybe when I retire,I might like to do this for other people.
