Hello, I have a delco 10si that is charging (14.5 volts), but my battery keeps going dead. My voltmeter says 12 volts across the battery with the engine off, and 14.5 with engine on. If I run the engine for 20 minutes, turn it off...and try to start it, the battery is dead. With a brand new battery....I got a few good starts out of it, then the battery lost power and now is dead as well. If I am measuring 14.5 volts across the battery terminals when ther engine is running, shouldn't my battery be charging?? Also, if there is a small short to ground in a circuit, I could see it draining the battery, but after 20 mins of charging I think the batter should have enough juice to turn it over right away. I'm confused. Wendel
