WIthout knowing more about what you want to do, none of us can really offer you any advise on these tractors, not even the totally unknown Case. About all any of us can do is comment on the Ford N's you mentioned. Cute, lightweight old tractor that is very limited in what it can do by its old design. The hydraulics are pto driven, and the pto is not live. So every time you press down on the clutch, you lose all hydraulic power to the 3 point hitch (no lift) and any driven impliment like a brush hog gets power cut off. The N's all have an extremely fast reverse. The later 8N has a 4 speed gearbox, while the earlier 9&2N's have a 3 speed. Brakes on the 9&2N are awkward to operate, with one pedal on each side of the tractor. They are nimble tractors, easy to work on, and parts are very readily available for them. So tell us more about the Case, and what you want a tractor for.
