Diesel is definitly the way to go,all you got for maintenance is to change the oil and fuelfilters once a year.fuelcost runs at least half with a diesel,maybe less.A good 165 will do just fine,you shouldn't need parts all that often,and oil and stuff you can buy at any dealer.Other tractors in that size;JD 1830,DB990/995,FORD4000..
