Unfortunately, we can add to our misery by reading FOX News on line and their report (from Saturday 9 March)on the demise of the U.S. Senate's version of the farm bill. Most likely dead because of $ 6.1 billion overcost due, in part, to large expenditures in the interests of environmentalists and other interest groups in competition with farmer's interests.
