I would suggest that you find out who your local dealers are, and look at equipment that can be supported by them. I have an MF 35 with the Perkins diesel, and for me that unit is just about perfect, but I've worked on Fords, IH and JD as well. You can find something good from all of them. The tractor you mentioned is a good solid unit, just not worth the 5k they're asking. Look for a mid size, like the one you found, with live PTO / hydraulics, brand is not as important as being able to support it. Good Luck.
