parts prices hurt, no doubt. check out a couple different places before you buy, if you have the time. just make sure you're getting the SAME thing from both. i usually buy my parts at the local deere dealer because i have to have them NOW, and they will help me with advice. to me, that advice is usually worth any price difference, as it usually saves me time and mistakes, both of which mean money. they also are comparable to tractor supply, and usually less than napa. i remember the last time i half-heartedly complained to the parts man about prices. he told me "if ya wanna run with the big dogs, you gotta learn to pee in the tall grass". no, i don't own deere stocks, but their parts have yet to fail me. my 2 cents.
