That was used as a culivator lift. I dont think the Eagle hitch came out until 54 or 55. A lot of the older ones had the mechianical lift it had a short arm that stuck out the side by the pto when you kicked the pedal the arm would rotate 180 degrees. This arm was connected to a set of arms that was bolted to the drawbar and they were connected to the culivators. Dave
