Had early one First trans lasted almost all of first day. Shaft had a timken lock nut keeper broke and being a right hand thread on a shaft turn the other way it spun off and busted the case broke the bolts that held the cap on end of shaft. They gave me a new every thing to fix it. Took that apart and made changes , Rethreaded shaft to left hand on that end , bored housing and changed to timken type bearings instead of balls. Then 470 cummins blew, they turn that thing 3000 Rpm the alternator turn about 15000 because was run off crankshaft pully down to a little pull on alternator, machine out a new pulley that let alternator turn about 5000 max. put a cat engine in it after changing frame mounts. This all happened in first 16 months. Then we used it for 15 years it went to junk yard with over 24,000 hrs on it several years ago.
