I agree with Steve: be very careful. Homelite plays on the low cost side, not the high reliability side. Make very sure that you know this machine's condition before you make an offer. It probably was a $1500 machine or so new (guessing). If it starts easily, doesn't blow a bunch of smoke, the automatic transmission is smooth in both forward and reverse, it might be a decent buy at the 400-500 Steve suggested. Anything at all wrong with it and you will have to put a couple hundred more into it, at least.
