If you know somebody that has a Sams club card,or if you do yourself they have one that will start a big truck in the winter with a dead battery in about an hour for about 75 dollars,it goes from 5 amps to start.They have smaller ones too I think for about 50 dollars that have a start feature on them.Sears or Western Auto also sell good ones,but those little bitty ones like in the picture you posted take a long time to charge a battery,I think they are more for maintaining a battery.
