Scotty I will try to explain what I have I bought the trailer new some time ago the trailer end is molded can,t take apart.its 7 wire it also came w/ the truck end molded also. the truck end went from round 7 wire to flat 4 wire + 2 black single wires and a white ground wire he gave me a connector to plug into my truck wiring harness and the flat 4 plugs into that the flat 4 takes care of r&l turn,brake lights+ a ground so if you follow me so far that takes care of lights and ground now a 3 wire harness comes from the brake control in the cab 1 black which has power when the key is on a red which has power when the brake is applied + a white ground ????? in the diagrame you had me look at what is the wire used for thats marked 12 volt??---Randy
