Was at a friend's house one time and he was having trouble with his lawnmower- spark plug was stripped and loose. In frustration and without thinking, he reached down with one hand to hold the plug in, and pulled the cord with the other hand- naturally, the plug blew out anyhow, and in the process, he got shocked from the plug wire. I just walked up as this transpired, and he had one of those "Now why did I do something so stupid" looks on his face.
