Oilbath aircleaners were used in the old days because they were better than nothing & field servicable without purchasing parts. Depression survivors who would rather choke an engine with a dirty airfilter than open their wallets. Paper filter remove more dirt & restricts airflow less. Albert's shop converts/improves the old units & leaves them looking factory origional from the outside. If nothing else drill the spot welds, remove the mesh & wash it clean. Then pop rivit it all back together. You won't believe how much dirt is stuck up in there.
