Get rid of the agent and check around for someone who specializes in the sale of rural property. I'm not buying the "cuts both ways" theory; lots of people out there looking for this set up. Also, my devious mind is wondering if the agent either wants the property for himself or owes someone and will pay them with a "good deal." Tear down the buildings you describe??? Utter nonsense!! Time to be rid of the agent.
